To be fair to The Star . . . I was not impressed by Ms Sharp's interrogations . . .her main objective, time and time again, was to put words in the mouth of the witnesses . . . actually what Ms Sharp did was formulate headline grab phrases to which she hounded the witnesses until they finally concurred.
At the end of the day, The Star was found guilty of not complying with the spirit of the law, rather than breaking the law . . . thus not a single criminal charge could be established.
In the future, The Star must ensure the spirit of the law before profits.
