bossdog it would of been interesting if Joyce put the full details and implications of the grounding to the shareholders to vote on before he went ahead.
I would never have vote for Qantas to treat passengers the way they were.
I have no problem with what Joyce did, except from the point of view of how little regard he had for Qantas passengers.
Joyce made a big mistake in the way he treated Qantas customers, he destroyed customer loyalty, customer confidence and the Qantas brand.
The long term impact for the total disregard shown to the value of Qantas passengers is yet to be seen.
I don't know about you, but I would never treat any of my customers in the same manor, nor would I give any future business to any business that treated it's customers the way Joyce did.
It is not what Joyce did, but how he did it.
I can tell you for a fact that Qantas has lost customers over this, just how many remains to be seen.
