And had the union action continued "many more weddings, funerals, seeing terminally ill relatives" would have been missed over a much longer period. Possibly eventuating in "unafordable to travel to" as a longer term consequence
As it was this was a short even brief disruption. I only saw a couple of "hard luck" stories (which I should add I am sure were genuine), but many things other than airlines can cause delays. From an overall perspective this was a tiny price for Qantas - and customers - to pay to finish the destructive union behaviour.
