That's true .... if the volumes that the sophs and instos have bought over the last 12-18 months had to be bought on market the share price would be much higher. Witness what happened when farjoy wanted to get to 10% after FAN-1 .... several 100m shares bought and the share price went to 16 cents (and hasn't been anywhere near it since). I also agree that the big players help to suppress the price ahead of CRs so that they ensure a low entry/top up ... or at least that's certainly what it looks like. Retail shareholders are hardly likley to be lending THEIR shares for shorting now are they!!?
