Read between the lines. I would think the reason they are quiet is one of: 1) They are close to closing a deal, 2) They have perhaps one serious bidder and don't want them to know of the lack of competing bids, 3) They are trying to get an extension, and need to stretch the facts without getting in trouble with the ASX later, or 4) They are just lazy.
I think 4 is the least likely
