Just a bit further to that MrH to clarify for anyone interested: in this basin, the volcanics are more or less expected to be encountered below the Aptian. The whole area is underlalin by volcanics. The volcanic high trend that was targeted in Moosehead-1 was expected to have a carbonate reservoir sitting on top of it. The carbonate reservoir was not developed at the Moosehead location. So my understanding is that it is not that they got volcanics instead of the carbonate reservoir, rather the carbonate reservoir just wasn't developed on top of the volcanic high. Shell have a similar prospect along the same trend they call Cullinan. You may have seen it in blob maps. Shell will have for sure used the well data from Moosehead-1 to calibrate their petrophysical studies.
