The ASX state in their guidelines, "a listed entity needs to engage with its security holders and provide them with appropriate information and facilities to allow them to exercise their rights as security holders effectively. This includes:
• giving them ready access to information about the entity and its governance;
• communicating openly and honestly with them; and
• encouraging and facilitating their participation in meetings of security holders."
