MAK should put a bid in for UCL now...

i read that many think that the large shareholdings in UCL would not allow this, but why not ?? a scrip offer would give them some stake in MAK - albeit at a lower level than what they have in UCL... but they would then have a stake in NT and Namibia phosphate projects coming onstream one after the other, just as the economy recovers (perhaps)...

so MAK should put a bid in for UCL now... even if it becomes a dumby bid... seen someone mention what i was thinking as well... if anyone takes over anyone, then it would be BON taking UCL and not the other way around... why would BON allow UCL to take it over when BON is in a better financial position than UCL - less shares on issue and taking 50% of UCL's work anyway - UCL is a bit scr_wed... they now have to dilute themselves ridiculously, just to get cash to survive and start their BFS...

MAK's sp will rise with DSO resource announcements and then when they start rolling out the offtake agreements... somewhere in there they will make their first placement, then sp will (and should) keep rising cos there will only be progressive news coming from them...

other then that, if MAK now has almost 25% (plus possibly the 11% directors to come) - does that mean that if they accept UCL's offer, then MAK might become a major holder of the whole of UCL as well ?? hhhmmm... am intrigued now to see what UCL comes up with... hahahaha.... but i still think that MAK taking over BON and UCL would have been the best for all shareholders concerned

(I held UCL but moved that into BON, and now hold BON and MAK)
