below is the price history of mine makers from that TSX . exchange. As you can note the first sale was on 10/12 3000 shares, I'm assuming somebody bought it. The next thing that happened on 10/13 was a sale of 22,000 shares.

What is totally beyond me is how 22,000 shares were sold. Was there some kind of private placement in Canada? Otherwise where could the 22,000 shares have come from.

I guess somebody could've shorted it, but why do so to that extent?
