Even if discussed early this year, the quality debate is relevent. Afterall it is MAK management who made a ballsup of today's announcement.
From what i can see the 14% RP mined in USA is processed on/near site...... exactly what Incitec do at their mine near Mt Isa. This is very different to shipping 14% RP thousands of kms to Asia and then processing into usuable fert. Transport is THE issue wth MAK.
Fortunately the gulf port appears deep enough to handle largish ships.
I still say the low grade RP is a long way from be mined.
The ideal scenario is that the 35% deposit is reasonable size. Perfect opportunity to get quick cashflow into MAK.
