in the question about HECS and can you expand on my idea that anyone wishing to join the army should have to pay....maybe like HECS
so if you want to be a army man you should have to PAY to join. Surely you can't expect to learn to be a killer of other humans for free surely!
why should you have all the experience of killing people and fun of training to kill people and the learning of the skills required to kill people without having to pay for the pleasure.
Geees anyone who goes to UNI to learn the skills of whatever has to pay for it so why shouldn't someone who joins the army to learn how to kill others have to pay.
A simple repayment plan can be organised I am sure everyone would be happy to lets say join for 4-5 years similar to a UNI degree then go and learn to kill all sorts of ways with a knife or a gun or a karate chop or maybe a garotte or even a bow and arrow....then when the skilled killer goes and gets a real job that actually adds something to society and the economy then they can repay their debt to society.If they die in combat then their parents can foot the bill.
thats seems fair...
basically anyone who thinks learning to kill others is a good idea is a moron
