Unless the Government can guarantee guest supply for the next 6 months (which they can't), then the hotels will also be shutting down.
Don't worry, the Government are getting a nightly rate that is hardly profitable for the hotels. The Government should also be covering the cost of the hotel's brand damage. Look at Swissotel.
I said it before and I will say it again; the Government must replace/subsidise the hotel's revenue, in a business as usual environment, for the next 6 months.
