My own experience is that stocks that go up exponentially usually plunge the same way, be they raw materials / commodities such as Li (see PLS, as someone mentioned, now at 40c, >50% haircut from the hi, even BKL (Vitamins etc...)...but most specially "hot" sectors.

anyway the scare that has hit the lithium sector is an uneducated statement with no logical reasoning behind it. It has taken into account all the proposed possible and maybe miners along with their even more speculative lithium deposits. This is just a ploy by big bankers to get in on the lithium game, a train which otherwise they would have missed.
