Data for 24/9/21 (most recent) shows 1.02m reduction in shorts to 34.5m however ASX data suggest just 1.1m shares were traded. Hard to imagine shorters bought virtually everything on the day. I've been collating the info from Shortman and ASX since start of 2021 and often they do no line up some of the time.
