Well i think it is a little bit more than that.

IMHO, as suggested previously someone with very large pockets has had enough of the shorters and is almost gentlemanly saying i will support the lower daily price strongly while also pushing the price up with daily multiple little buys...they are clear throughout the day and are linked in volume to the daily turnover, so i believe computer generated and as well and they will counter the shorters after close selling plays.

Another way of looking at this is, i am trading against you .....start reducing your short position... in the scheme of things these are little cash amounts they are playing with...so i see this as very very good news... now these sort of things are noticed by automated programs....hopefully a pod of whales is circulating
