the peak oil argument - though not relevant to climate change - is still being debated - one body of opinion is that the gulf states are deliberately over estimating their reserves so they can keep control of OPEC. We may well be already past peak oil. Hard to tell.
Nobody sensible that I know of has warned of an impending ice age - where did that one come from? the evidence is clear - definite rise in temperatures over the last 200 years. I don't know why anybody bothers to dispute it.
