i would hardly call Wikipedia a reliable source when it comes to understanding nuclear power. Nuclear power is going to be around for the rest of our lives as a major source of power. Thorium or other experimental reactors are decades away from becoming mainstream, if ever. End of discussion of this topic in this forum.
