Sorry I should have said 2005 for dividends not 2004. If miningnut is right and PSA racks up $35 million in profit in 2004 we should see some of that back as divvies the following year.
We are not going to get anything this year and nor should we. Agree entirely with 1bp, money goes back into exploration and development over next twelve months.
And just a note for Yogi on outlook now as against this time last year. This time last year I was pretty confident we would see the share price triple or more within 12 months, now I am reasonably confident it may double before next December. But that said a good result from China and we could see a repeat of last year.
And if there is more at Vermillion than we have been led to believe so far then the doubling will be sooner rather than later.
What I can't fathom is the lack of media interest not just in Petsec but in the oilers generally. Right now the sector is clearly hot, you can make money on just about any basket of junior oilers. But not a mention in AFR or Shares magazine. Does oil have to go to $40 before they wake up!!!
