Didnt it say in the announcement that all commercial terms have been agreed i.e. presumably a non-binding Heads of Agreement has been signed, and that the Farminee Board just needs to sign off a presence in Australia rather than terms(so what advantage would they gain from making MEO sweat it out for another month is what i am asking if terms are set). Re logistics, I also would have thought that you need to get Board papers to the Board at least a month before the meeting so the MEO deal probably wasnt concluded in time.
In any case, as everyone has been saying on these fourms, this whole saga has one end game, and that is what deal Jurgen has been able to pull of, and what is involved in the commercialisation phase of the project if gas is found.
Clearly we have been told that the delay comes down to this agreement being way beyond a normal farm in and not normal commercial brinkmanship, and that prudent project management could not have avoided the delay, and so I wait (again) till we find out exactly what the deal involves to determine if Jurgen has hopefully been making all the right chess moves.
