You are right.
There are only "droughts" and "Famines" in Africa because--
Years of exponential population growth linked with the practises of grazing goats until every single blade of grass and roots have been pulled out, the land becomes a desert. Population 100 times that is sustainable by the land.
They should be left alone, to fend for themselves. We can never offer a solution to them; the solution must come from themselves.
It is said that "Aids would be the saviour of the African continent"
but it did not come to pass.
