Several months have gone by since the above was posted and TEL continue to fail to impress.
At a very basic level their customer service is non-existent. They are being screwed big time by Yahoo who run their poorly performing and frequently not available Xtra email service; they fortunately managed to hive off Chorus who are now demonstrating Telecom traits in being unable to meet very basic fibre installation programmes & timetables; Telecom's website is a tragedy and quite unresponsive; their call centre is in the Phillippines. And so on.
There are better telcos to put your money into than this lemon.
