You opened with a statement saying Great News. When do you think this will have any impact on Lynas profits and how much? JMO a minimum of 2.5 years more likely 5 years. Profits increases will be tiny for at least 3 or 4 years. Just think.
Sits have to be bought. Permits are needed. Construction has to start. Equipment has to be moved in. pilot production. Production ramp up.
Look at Lynas they changed there plans for Texas in 2021 And just recently slipped ground breaking to early CY 2025 for permitting issues. Based on how well Lynas has done ( original schedule in 5 year plan was limited production in late 2022) I would not expect any real impact for 15 years but I am sure either of these companies can do better than Lynas do you agree or disagree with them doing better than Lynas?
GM and MP did much better deal was signed early 2023 they are already in limited pilot with metals and hope to start Magnets in CY 2024
