    Regarding timing: the plan is first production calendar 2025, permitting sorted and construction commenced. They admit in the interview it's an ambitious timeline.
    I doubt there will be much need for piloting as they have the IP from their EU operations.
    Will this benefit Lynas? I think so for several reasons.
    It will be a solid piece of the ex-China magnet supply chain in place.
    Suppliers? Well maybe MP will get it together to separate oxides in bulk some time in the next 5 years. Maybe they'll even have some surples to their magnet making. I rather doubt it. Iluka is in big trouble with their project and the usual gaggle of hopefuls (like Arafura) are still some way off.
    In the meantime Lynas is ramping up NdPr 'in line with the market demand' and when Tx is running our Dy/Td will be the only ex-China source.
    Finally I'd note that VAC's operational hubs are EU, China and MALAYSIA! Probably pure coincidence.
