Im appreciative of your post "brixy" and agree forums such as Hotcopper and stockhouse in particular can have a negative inpact on your investment decisions. Have been member for some 18 months and unfortunately (finacially) has not been the greatest period in my life. From an investment perspective I started to dabble in stocks I would not normally invest in ie LOK,PWR,ERG,SMX as I believed like many HC's members high growth spec stocks such as these would take me to greater financial prosperity. Some 18 months later and down some 20K, I tend to agree with entire post. It takes losses like these to snap you out of investing in ridiculus companies that have been ramped (negative or positive) on HC and stockhouse. I'll stick to stocks such as TLS,CXP,TAH for medium/long term growth prospects.
