there's some talk about MAK's sp going this way or that, but one should remember that the MAK MD and FD sold shares in MAK recently, which held the sp down... so would expect that the real underlying sp should be higher than it is today, once people realise that the selling was perhaps to keep the MAK sp down, so that the BON offer was more acceptable to MAK holders... (seeing that BON sp was just under the 4c mark)... other then that, BON isn't the only one that will have positive news coming out before any official tie-up... MAK should have all the DSO drilling done as well... and then in May (?) there should be the rail scoping study as well...
MAK effectively has enough DSO to get their first 1 million tonnes out of the ground... it's just a matter of whether they can get something like 10 to 20M tonnes of the stuff at Arruwurra, so that they don't even have to think about the lesser grade stuff for the first 5 years or so... i still think that NT DSO, followed by high-grade simple Sandpiper mining would be the best combination for the next 2 or 3 years...
