Mate, some people just don't understand numbers do they. Yes they did only get 49% of the vote, but the fact is this represents a whopping 61.6% of the votes lodged. if that doesn't indicate a majority, I don't know what does.
That said, even if 100% of people voted in the poll and the Yes vote got their 61.6% of that vote, they would still scream its not enough.
