Dave R, Children can't be immunised against Japanese Encephalitis. This is a recommended inoculation for PNG. Someone has already pointed out that they could go anyway and take the same risk as PNG children. The average life expectancy in PNG is much less than in a developed country.
We shouldn't be sending people to third countries. We should be housing boatpeople on Christmas Island in Spartan conditions until they go home.
