Hi chokdee, I agree that the focus for SVM should be getting their world class graphite into production first, as it will be a "cash cow" to develop and pay for their other exploration options...titanium which is a world class rutile deposit too.
In addition to the above assets I was interested in their gold exploration licence, that as you stated "it was a shrewd move by management to acquire a highly prospective tenement where the locals had been illegally mining alluvial gold" in my first post the reporter mentioned "On the day Weekend Nation visited the site, she panned gold weighing 1.51 ounce and she sold it at K25 000. The same gold would fetch her K1.4 million if sold on the international market (I know this might be not in the same area as SVM's permit) but I have tried panning for gold and if anyone reading this has too....IT IS NOT EASY TO GET THAT QUANTITY OF GOLD unless they are sitting on a lot of gold! That's why I started this thread Malawi sitting on gold deposits to find a bit more about SVM's permit area of interest, the grades in the surrounding areas, to potentially give us an idea of SVM's land holdings for potential gold development. I don't think this potential is even factored into the share price of SVM at the present time. If anyone lives in the area, has local knowledge or found relevant information please share Thanks
