normal practice is for contracts to be denominated in US$
they get paid in $US dollars....cash needed in malawi will be converted into the new devalued currency...so they should be ahead on the forex exchange area....
if you devalue your currency it should make exports cheaper
I'm no currency expert but someone else may be better suited to explaining the ramifications of this new situation
