I think your post probably belongs on the Uranium thread, however I wish to reply to Matthew Wright, executive director of beyond zero emissions, as the author of that wishful thinking.

How much do you pay per KWh for your electricity?

Does this sound familiar Matthew?

"Once we've got the bulk of the world's power from renewable sources then we can fill any gaps with pumped hydro storage and (most importantly to Australia) solar thermal"


Let me know when you have reduced the price of " Solar thermal with molten salt storage" below its current cost of 20 cents per KWh.

That's about 600% more than the price per KWh of natural gas.
