The Malawi REE aquisition seemed, at the time, to make sense - for the future - when the finance for the Mt Weld project appeared to be settled, plant construction was proceeding, & proceeds from a 21,000 tpa REE production from Mt Weld was a goer.
But, experience of "African" deals is that they are, in the main, "bullshit". One trusts that our Board has not paid any appreciable monies up-front, & that due diligence of claimed title, royalties, tonnage, grades of the various REE's, etc, would be carried out before parting with shareholder monies.
An "inferred" resource is no resource at all.
So, some drilling, as part of due diligence for the aquisition would be requird. I am not aware that drilling has been carried out.
