Why do you wish the AUD$ to fall? I get the advantage in agriculture & other industries (mining etc) for example when our farmers are competing with the USA with their huge subsidies and trade in USD$ markets.
But I don't understand why you would wish for the same strategy at this particular point for a commodity which doesn't seem to be in a USD dominated market?. If our major "trading partner' is purely China/Asia orientated they definitely wont like the USD and have ways around using it - hence foreign exchange shouldn't be so much a problem? If we need a trading advantage over competition why not just discount it for them?
VRX will shortly have huge Capital costs ( 2 plants from Ireland) to finance, so if the AUD has huge falls against any currency they use, wont us shareholders have to foot increased cost by dilution (CR) or debt.?
