Ye there are some negatives - ie as you said, a new EIA for public consultation is needed.
Land acquirement seems fine I guess. Not sure who owns it, but the article says the Pahang government will help acquire the land.
The Sept 2 Deadline although is close, should preferably be extended, if say the DOE rejects the current forest location. It's absurd to not extend the license, since it's DOE's fault for not approving the EIA and not Lynas's.
It's like you want Lynas to fix the issue, but you constantly block Lynas from fixing the issue. So absurd.
