Maybe Siemens are having second thoughts about building their magnet plant next to Lynas's LAMP after all the difficulties that Lynas has been through.
It might be an excellent idea for the joint venture to look for an alternative site for the magnet plant. There may even be a suitable site here in Australia and the Government may be persuaded to provide incentives to attract "green technologies".
You don't what the Government would be willing to provide to create manufacturing jobs after all the recent job losses that have been hitting the news headlines. The Government really needs a good news story and a substantial investment by Siemens & Lynas in Australia would be most welcome.
