Ganpp - there is no contradiction there. We are definitely reliant on Measat to meet the final conditions for exim funding so we can launch Jabiru 1. But Jabiru 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive. Measat does not by definition mean Jabiru 2 as you say. jabiru 2 is but one satellite of theirs and not the cause of this delay.

If jabiru 2 never launched, Jabiru 1 still could, therefor by definition one does not rely on the other. This is very much a Jabiru 1 problem. perhaps the problem is that people are interchangeably using the words "jabiru 2" and "Measat" and sometimes they mean Measat, which is then confusing some people.
