But it's still depressing to see this continual barrage of anti-scientific nonsense so widely and rapidly published through social media. I don't see any way to counter it, as shown by Dr Looi's attempts at doing so in clear simple language being ridiculed as shown above. The opposition has NO interest at all in scientific facts.
But it's doubly depressing to realize that our very own Australian Greens are quite happy to proudly spread the same lies here.
All I can think of doing in response is to resort to the courts: perhaps by seeking injunctions to stop the spreading of malicious lies that severely damages law-abiding public companies. If the Greens persist in their public attacks in Australia, why not go on the attack here too?
