Lynas Corporation (ASX:LYC, OTC:LYSDY) understands that persons associated with the Save Malaysia Stop Lynas group (SMSL) have obtained a hearing date before the Malaysian Court of Appeal on Friday 7 December 2012. The hearing will consider another application for an interim stay pending an appeal against the recent decisions of the Kuantan High Court to refuse an injunction and a stay. Lynas understands that the documents that SMSL will present to the Court of Appeal are substantially similar to the documents that have been presented for recent unsuccessful applications by SMSL, including those to the Kuantan High Court on 8 November 2012 and 14 November 2012.
