Not really an unexpected outcome, if true. However, the one thing that is highly, highly unlikely to happen is a total shutdown of production at the LAMP if KAL is not ready by July 1. I recall the question was asked of then PM Mahathir and he said something to the effect that govt would be reasonable if there were unavoidable delays etc. So I'm not quaking with fear that Lynas will be shut down. It's just annoying because KAL would have doubled cracking n leaching capacity, instead it will now simply be replacement capacity for LAMP. For no good reason. And of course the share price will remain a trader's dream. Production will NOT stop July 1.
