I agree with sitting tight as far as giving timelines or pushing government action. But this is not the time to sit tight on communication. Lynas is very right to be doing this weeks facebook campaign. They should continuous and creative in how they explain their safety. The government wants this; the IAEA wants this; and judging from how safe the ore and waste actually is and how much fear is out there it is long term important to Lynas. All told our ore is slightly more radioactive then gravel or concrete. That shows how out there the opposition is, but it also suggests Lynas needs to be much more create, persistent and disciplined in getting the truth to the average Malaysian. This week is shaping up as a great start for that IMO.
