Just saw an interview on channel 24 of former Coalition Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser.
Mr Fraser was asked whether he respected Tony Abbott and his response was to the effect that he cant respect someone that uses asylum seekers as a fear means for political purposes.
Interestingly i heard him also say that the government ought to be colour blind, the context of which I took to mean that governments should not stir up racial prejudice.
