BESS could/should become a thing at almost any substation - my brother in Law was unable to export solar power from his home into the grid due to network constraint... these little batteries will help remove that problem.

With QLD government funding, five are being built initially (one of these is in my local area and have been watching its development for two months now) IMO first movers will profit most - I know the CR has been dilutive, but I still strongly feel the near term revenue increase (due to higher arbitrage rates) will outweigh the impact on the SP of adding additional BESS sooner than later.
