For years this has been your schtick Justis, and indeed Turnbull's 'claim to fame', but you've never once explained what good it does the Coalition parties to have a leader who is liked by Opposition and minor party voters ahead of the Labor party leader in your endless preferred PM polls.

When it comes to the election day, that poll is totally meaningless and completely pointless.

We don't vote for a preferred PM we vote for a local candidate to represent us locals in our electorate.

Turnbull was the dud who scraped home on the back of Sarah Henderson's [and her support team] exceptionally hard work and effective efforts in pointing out Daniel Andrews bizarre, vicious, brutal, union-backed attack on the CFA volunteers in Victoria.

Sarah H scraped in again with a small majority as did the Victorian Julia Banks in Chisholm, which was the only Coalition seat that the Coalition won from the ALP in 2016 in the whole country.

If either or both of these went to ALP then most likely we'd have had a minority Labor Gov't again.

That was after Abbott had led the party to a 90 seat- 55 ALP seat landslide in 2013.
