Taurisk, Yeah Abbott is a bit of a try hard and hence the volunteer fire fighting and surf lifesaving, more of a physical person be to make up for the lack of intellect. What's with the way he walks??
I also admire what Turnbull has achieved, by his own words he has had some luck but he has applied himself and done well in all his vocations.
I don't trust Shorten, comes across like a used car salesman, he is only nice to you so he can achieve his own objectives
In this day and age with the 24/7 news cycle and 3 year term of government it difficalt for a leader to truly far sighted, I think Turnbull is but the reality of politics and the attack dog negativity that Abbott used in opposition and Shorten is using now makes it difficalt.
