    Not sure if your joking or not. I don't mind MT, but he is turning into a real politician, pre-empting what the government is already doing, going to do or is thinking of doing.

    Also, his opinions about how much or how little the gov is doing is just political point scoring. As the story goes, its more difficult to make decisions when you are the one in power.

    I suggest you view the ABC "Insider" program from last Sunday if you don't believe me.

    As to whether he will make it to PM, all I can say IMHO, is that the current global financial crisis couldn't hurt his chances - however if he descends to blaming the gov for the current crisis or for prolonging it for that matter, I think it will backfire on him. He was after all, an investment banker and we are going to hear a lot about that lot over the next year or two...
