That's not exactly correct!
Yes the partyroom votes in their leader. But then he is the leader and going forward he takes the party to an election where people either cast their vote firstly for their local member or in spite of that for their party of choice or perhaps they just vote for the PM and chose his party via their available local candidate.
Perhaps you should apologize for attempting to slight starwoman as you appear to not have a full understanding of how voters go about casting their votes and why one voter casts a vote the same way as another with totally different reasons for doing so.
