GO, to be fair to this Malcy fellow the $600m was never said by him iirc, he just put it out there that CNE were activley pursuing a sale to BP, an article on Reuters was the first time $600m was mentioned and that figure can only be attributed to the journalist that wrote that article as they never said 'Mr X' or 'sources' say the deal could be worth US$600m', the article simply said along the lines of 'the deal is thought to be worth around $600m', posters on HC can all pull a number out of their backside and say the same sentence the reporter did and as such the $600m figure should be taken with a teaspoon of salt. The sale hasnt happened (yet) so the $600m figure is irrelevant until a sale does materialse.
