As long as it takes to show them around; introduce them to the necessary people in Dakar, tell them where to drill the next well, prime them on the what's-what with the adjacent leases... Etc. You would be surprised how much big dumb companies like having small smart guys around. And then it's like a marriage. The longer it lasts, the more the deep pockets pay out.
