I notice that a publication yesterday suggested that Total may be the bidder for this which would make sense not least due to colonial history and if were true I suspect that they would not be interested in only the 35% on offer from COP …Selling a dream asset like this smacks as defining not only the bottom of the market but the insensitivity of an oil major many miles away, time to take advantage of the folk from Bartlesville, Oklahoma…"bold really caught my eye.

KKW Malcy has been more than pretty accurate as of late with what's happening in Senegal. I personally think somethings afoot. Why would you stop drilling early........ before connectivity has been proven?? I really don't get that especially when FAR have said they were going to update the market on commerciality in quarter 3. If COP are selling I hope they take us along for the ride we would be guaranteed of getting top dollar then I reckon. DB
