Malfeasance is the civil equivalent of corruption. A private concern can effectively pursue their own private prosecution in a civil court, with a view to compo. If MacDonald won such a civil case, then the DPP would certainly not bother perusing a criminal case against him. If NCR wins such an action, then compo is taken as granted. Either way, NCR cannot loose.

I suspect NCR will now wait to view all new legislation. If BO'F gets his ass kicked with this, I suspect there will be a spill. Two overturned bills within 1yr is not good for a leader. He needs to get better legal advice.
