Fed will raise inflation over 2% to average out the stabourn past of under 2%... it all depends on how much time they decide to average that out... 4% = 2years or 2.1% = 42years... I believe 3% is 8years.
The take away is that inflation is going to run hotter for longer... it’s the last tool in the FED box- and the most dangerous... because once they raise interest rates to slow inflation it’s game truely over.
